When work on the laboratory we will use many
glassware apparatus need to work in there. Mostly this glass use as measurment tools and as a chmicals place to react or use as reators. Many of glassware indicate a measurement indicator but not all glassware can use a volume indicator, this because of the measurement indicator just as a volume prediction, not precise volume. The different of this volume indicator in chemical glass and in the measurement volume is the accuracy of this indicators. Glassware with volume indicator have roughly size so it can't use for volume measure.
Like on the picture above all this glass have volume indicator but not all of those glass can use to measure the volume of liquid, only measurement cylinder can use to measure the volume. Erlenmeyer (glass with smaller inlet) usually use for mixing chemicals, and chemical glass can use for many purposes.
